Moore's Springs Trails features 6 miles of hiking trails near Danbury, NC.<br />
This trail system is made up of 3 loops: the 'Original Loop,' the 'Major Tom to Ground Control,' and the 'Land of the Lost.' Original Loop is the easiest our of all three, while Major Tom has the most climbing. There are beautiful creek crossings under the vast forest canopy, but watch out for mountain bike traffic.

Directions

From Hwy 52 (King Area)-Moore/RJR exit (122). Left from the ramp, through several stoplights. Left on Hwy66. Right onto Moore's Springs Rd. Pass the entrance to Camp Sertoma and Dan George Road. Trail Parking is on right just before bridge (look for the orange cone).<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />From Hwy 65 (Walnut Cove) - At intersection of Hwy 65 with Hwy 311 & 8/89 turn Right and through Walnut Cove. At second light (Bojangles & Hardees!) continue North and East on Hwy 8/89 to Danbury. Pass through Danbury, continue to Hospital and turn Left on HRSP Road. Follow HRSP Rd. to intersection with Moore's Springs Rd. (Just before the park gate). Turn Right onto MS Rd. and then a few miles until the bridge. Turn Left into trail parking immediately after the bridge. Park by the farmhouse and find trailhead to the right.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />http://ridemst.blogspot.com/
